Tony DeSare is undoubtedly one of our favorite crooners! We had the pleasure of witnessing his musical magic at the Nashville Symphony this past year. A true class act of an entertainer. His voice is like taking a bite of warm apple pie—delightful and sweet, with a buttery richness that feels almost heavenly. You take one bite, and you’re like, “Please, sir, may I have another?” All jokes aside, with his soothing sound, you’ll find yourself floating on a cloud; it’s easy listening at its finest.

Hailing from New York, Tony DeSare is a refined jazz vocalist, pianist, and songwriter who blends his love for the classic American songbook with a soft touch of pop and rock influences. He’s been compared to Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Bublé; however, Tony has a unique style all his own.

Tony’s latest track, “It’s Always Sunny,” is a heartfelt tribute to his young son, Chris. Not only did Tony write the song, but he also produced, arranged, played all the instruments, and mixed it—talk about a one-man band! This guy is truly unstoppable.

For Tony, the song carries a bittersweet weight. The melody and concept came to him during a drive home from one of his last family trips with his son and ex-wife (pre-divorce). As both his son and ex were snoozing in the car, he reflected on the changes unfolding in his life. Despite the sadness surrounding those shifts, he recognized the immense light his son brings into his world, reminding him that everything will be okay as long as they’re together.

So, what’s next for this multi-talented guy? Not only can you expect him to drop one song per month (so follow him now!), but he’s also hitting Carnegie Hall in NYC on February 7th, 2025, with his show “Let’s Misbehave: The Songs of Cole Porter.” How cool is that? Tony Shared with us that at one point in his life, he didn’t even have enough cash to buy a ticket to Carnegie Hall… Now look at him! Wow, how times have changed!
